Ok, I see the channels now on http://en.kingofsat.net/pos-15W.php

What I need to know is how big a dish I need in Slaapstad?? Also our current dish is pointing at 68.5 degrees (E/W??)so 15 West is going to be which way. There is the small matter of a large tree :D *revs up the chainsaw*

What exactly are the club channels you talking about?
Are the DMC channels the same as on dstv?

pas 7/10 situated 68.5 E where telstar 12 15 W

a 90cm dish should do it

do you have audio on reality??? cause i've got none???? i'm getting reality currently of PAS 12 and its working??......
also i dont think the hbo can be unscrambled??
there are more channels on telstar 12, like thai channels and voice of america..... nothing really worth watching....

I'm cancelling my NoChoice subscription.

I am also including in the cancellation letter that they come remove their decoder, and refund me the money that I paid for it.

I am including storage costs in the letter. I recon that R30 a day is not a bad charge, after all .. it looks really ugly.

Then there's the storage cost of the smart card, and the refund on that. I recon that 200 bucks once off should cover that.

If they don't come pick up their decoder from me, then I will bill them, and in 2 months time, I will ....

Pathetic.
Utterly pathetic.

Anyone have the guide to hacking the MChoice decoder. I cannot find it on the original article's links
 
yeah. Is there any way to hook up the pvr to a pc? Wanna dump some material onto hdd.
 
The software doesn't allow this. The ports are not activated as far as I can tell. The format of the files is also unknown.

Maybe you could be a pioneer by lifting out the HDD and connecting it to a PC?;)

You can take your "RF Out" cable and plug it into a TV card such as Winfast PVR. When you play the recorded stuff on your PVR it will come up on your PC screen, allowing you to record it on the HD.

Telstar is almost exactly opposite PAS7/10, about 20 degrees to the north, at almost the same elevation. Eutel W3A is another 10 degrees north, but much higher +/- another 20 deg up.

Multidemonopoly says that is utterly againsted the law and will come round with their fancy radar equipped vans that can tell what signal you are recieving and arrest you! They will want to speak to whoever told you the decoders password was 9949 as well, so better start getting your story strait!

Next time hookup MYtv and BTV as well - forget the sentech channels that suck :D
