What exactly is an atheist agenda?
South Africa’s biggest forum. Discuss, discover, and connect with thousands of members.
Feel free to respond to my perfectly logical explanation as opposed to bad mouthing me.The barbaric hordes have made space ships years ago THESE atheists in this thread could have you believe that because they VERY good at twisting the truth, look at how porchrat misquoted websters. To anyone reading this entire thread thats not trying to push an atheist agenda it will be very apparent that they hate religion but preach tolerance lol bunch of hypocrites.
To remove the blinkers and reveal the truthWhat exactly is an atheist agenda?
I do that often... now lets talk about the dark ages![]()
And please read up on science in the middle ages and how the scientific method was developed.
Whatever it is, I don't think it is going to make a difference. Atheism on its own is pretty useless and hasn't contributed anything good or bad... ever. What exactly is an atheist agenda?
You can prove or disprove something with deductive logic. Read up on Aquinas' Five Ways.please can we grow up and realise that there is no proving or disproving anything in the supernatural realm?
You cannot prove or disprove God
Gravity happens, evolution happens. But if the theory of evolution is anything like the theory of gravity then we don't know much quite frankly.Evolution is a scientific theory that explains how the single cell over billions of years is responsible for all the diversity you see today, it is a scientific theory or explanation much like gravity or germ theory or relativity.
Lol. Nice fallacious argument you made there. If there was a god, he would have flicked hitlers head off. but he never so does that mean he like's to watch, eating popcorn?
Ok, I am fine with that. What do you want to talk about....I do that often... now lets talk about the dark ages

That is very subjective and does not prove it is true or not.If you weight the pros and cons of religion, in fact there are few pros then you realize that it is pretty useless and also dangerous.
That is very subjective and does not prove it is true or not.
You can pretty much make the same argument against governments. For example:cons of religious http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_war
pros: a lot of endorphins and you find acceptance by an imaginary being,
You can pretty much make the same argument against governments. For example:
Cons of government: Steals money in the form of taxation. Many wars have been fought between many governments. In fact, you can say just about every major war is as a result of some governmental-type authority.
Pros: People think governments are good.
Neither of these prove anything unfortunately. You haven't proven religious is false or wrong or unnecessary and I haven't proven governments are wrong or unnecessary.
Still very subjective.
And that compared to all the good that the "religion of peace" contributes.Whatever it is, I don't think it is going to make a difference. Atheism on its own is pretty useless and hasn't contributed anything good or bad... ever.
At least 58 people are dead after explosions hit the Afghan cities of Kabul and Mazar-e Sharif on Tuesday, the Shiite holy day of Ashura, officials said.
One attack occurred when a suicide bomber detonated a device at a Shiite shrine in Kabul, killing 54 people, Afghan Health Ministry spokesman Kargar Norughli said. Another 150 were injured.
Another four people were killed by another explosion in Mazar-e Sharif, the provincial capital of Afghanistan's northern Balkh province, police official Lal Mohammad Ahmadzai said. Another 21 were injured in that attack.
"The enemies tried to spread fear in this important holiday in the city," Ahmadzai said.
Ashura commemorates the martyrdom of Hussein, grandson of the Prophet Muhammad. Hussein was killed in battle in Karbala, Iraq in 680, one of the events that helped create the schism between Sunnis and Shiites, the two main Muslim religious movements. Shiites are a minority presence in Afghanistan, which is predominantly Sunni.
Well, I tend to agree with much you have to say about governments. I disagree with the idea that they should be totally removed. I am however for some kind of government between total anarchy and the welfare states we see today. Classical liberalism is probably closest to describing my views at present.I'm actually against governments, I find people's belief in democracy just as absurd as someone's believe in that little big guy up stairs.
Probably true, but trivially so. People kill and they will tend to find any excuse to go to war. The problem is not religion, the problem is ideology. If there was no religion people would still go to war as a result of differing ideologies. However people killed in the name of religion, if you remove the religion part then people won't kill in the name of religion. - fact.
I can agree that belief in the imaginary can be potentially dangerous. But you are being disingenuous if you think religious people believe in the imaginary. For them God is very real. You may opine that God is imaginary, I disagree. But to say all religious people believe in the imaginary is just disingenuous and quite frankly just insulting. They might kill for something else (usually a odd belief system), which proves the point that belief in the imaginary, is absurd and dangerous.
This is not very subjective, because it is factual!
Pointing out the faults of religion is not going to prove it false or change the fact that atheism on its own is pretty useless to contribute to anything in any way.And that compared to all the good that the "religion of peace" contributes.
At least 58 dead from dual blasts in Afghanistan

But this is probably just as a result of a deep disagreement between atheists and theists.
Yes, that might be true, however if you remove religion then they have 1 less thing to go to war over.Probably true, but trivially so. People kill and they will tend to find any excuse to go to war.
