try using free download manager (fdm)they have a tech there that allows even non-resuming servers to resume it might work

Tried - FDM doesn't even recognize the link as anything but a small .php file :/

my ping is still over 1000ms to local since saturday, logged a fault and Mweb say it's my line! but how come IS & Webafrica accounts have ping of 20-30ms to mybb and Mweb 1000ms?
 
Just what the F$%K is going on, no internet for the 3rd day in a row?? MWEB what the hell??? Had to wait half an hour on hold just to be told that they dont know what the problem is, not even a voice recording to let me know that there is a major problem in Durban. This is beyond ridiculous.
 
did you guys try the dns thing seemed to work on the client I tried with never got any complaints from them since

I have tried the dns solution without success. Neither open nor google dns seem to make any difference. Sppeds are still very slow if not none existant. Also today if I reeboot my modem it tskes about 10min to coNnect to mweb.

I am loosing patience with mweb. 3 days now and no feedback, no solution, nothing. Frikkin mweb.

I was thinking of upgrading to business adsl with mweb but now I will be looking elsewhere. I hear that webafrica are goood.

Ok.... so now apparently the Seacom problem is fixed ... but I still seem to be battling with my mweb connection, still VERY slow.
I changed my dns settings to google and open dns but it doesn't seem to make much difference.

Is anyone else still experiencing problems?
 
Jaslike! The interweb is still CUC slow... I changed DNS yesterday and its still been dragging along.

I just checked the mweb notice page ...or at least tried to...and get the message "Server is too busy" ...geen kommentaar...something is REALLY broken and it appears that many a ISP is affected but it also appears that MWEB is wors off? Where's the rundancy? Wish I was an SLA customer right now...
