MWEB ADSL Seacom problems

Multiple South African fibre breaks are affecting MWEB’s Seacom international bandwidth, causing slow international ADSL access

Need a shattering/breaking picture for Mweb like you have for Telkom :P

I love the performance I get from using MWEB but this seacom story is getting old :(

MWEB said that the Seacom system is to blame

When you are a politician play the Race card.
When you are mweb play the Blame Other card.

Mweb has been going down hill for the past week... its not just now all of a sudden. There has been a trickle of degradation cleverly spinned under the carpet. Then again what do you expect when you are dealing with men in their pajamas.

It's been bad for me too since about Tuesday. I've had a "Ping Plot" on VisualRoute running for the past few days, and it has got red all over it from packet loss, with a couple hour long periods with no packet loss, when I happened to be dialed up over afrihost and webafrica.

Not impressed mweb.

Going to shift our office mweb account over to Afrihost.

I'm over and done with this nonsense.

Considering this also. Especially since the last time I complained about speeds, I got told that my usage for that day was fine.

"International is down, so all I can do is bitch and moan on MyBB, and druul at the Xperia Z ultra article"

Getting slightly annoyed with MWEB. Seems trivial, but now for the next 2 weeks my tanks are going to gather dust in the garage again!

Any gamers know of a better product?

Thanks

I think the worst is how mweb is taking credit for alternative bandwidth provided by Seacom as part of their contract, and providing it poorly as well.

Mweb needs way more redundant bandwidth directly with the other cables, or need to switch to a more reliable cable.

Thanks,

Do you know perhaps which one has the best latency to the USA?
And will it be affected in anyway next time Seacom farts?

And still they haven't got proper redundancy... seems somebody's sleeping at the steering wheel...
