7% is not really a minute price reduction.. it is relatively significant in this day and age.

Good on MWEB for reducing prices. For all those complaining, this is definitely newsworthy. Sure it's not a big 20%+ decrease, but it is big enough, and better than nothing.

What I don't understand, is why they don't have a separate 4mbps uncapped service. Doesn't make sense that someone whose 4/10mbps line only syncs at 4mbps has to pay the same price as someone who can get 10mbps. Charge the guys who want 10mbps a little more, and the guys on 4mbps a little less, instead of blending them together, and making the 4mbps customers subsidize the 10mbps customers.

Edit: OK I stand corrected. They do have a 4mbps service for R1999. Source.

I don't know how many 10mbps customers they have, but R4999 to R3811 is a significant decrease IMO. That makes the story worth writing, not so much the price change on the lower speed lines which everyone is selectively critiscising
edit: the reduction is 23.8% on the 10 Mbps lines.

It's a better mistake than getting 7.8% instead of 6.8% wrong in my opinion (seeing that it was an obvious mistake and not trying to redicule someone)
