Mweb payment options? Easy to cancel? General opinion?

Thinking about trying Mweb ADSL.

BUT, first I want to know if anyone else knows if it's easy enough to cancel with them?

AFAIK, I will have to take a monthly contract with them? Can I pay them via EFT/Direct deposit or only debit order etc?

I WON'T be taking their free modem offer line bundle thing, which AFAIK is a minimum 12 month contract, I will just take an ISP account, which AFAIK I can cancel probably with 30 days notice or something?

Also what do you think of their service in general? I used to have dial-up with them, which was pretty much okay, but I don't know much about them concerning ADSL for example.

I have looked at their site but it's not straightforward enough for me, and a tad confusing, plus those colors...

Yes, 30 days notice is required. Service is pretty good and Techies are generally well-informed. Not sure about the payment options though. I would imagine that being part of naspers (multichoice, etc.) that they handle multiple payment options.

I'm with MWEB since NetActive days but haven't cancelled so I dunno. Definately
wouldn't order iBurst directly thru iBurst for instance. MWEB seems decent regarding its
policies.

Mad over priced imo. Unless you use a lot of the free local cap that comes along with it. (afaik a top-up with them is R100 or so while the others are R70)

The automatic out of bundle rate is R0.20 which is also hectic.

The routers appear to be the same as Telkom uses.

Ja I know there out of bundle is insane, would never go for that.

Already have a good router from Telkom. (ZyXel, I'm assuming the ones you are referring to though are those funny little black things?)

Didn't I see on Mweb's site that there router is locked to Mweb?

i was also thinking of going the mweb route,,unlimited local @R145/month is a win/win situation for me
