mostly noticed when gaming cause I never browse where I will really notice a change.

I was wondering if it could be game server related, but it is on several different servers.

No reported issues with the news server. Can you ping the news server?
 
Hi Mweb Guy, why is it such a big issue to migrate my Telkom line to Mweb?

I phoned Mweb twice today(morning and afternoon) and every time they say they are gonna send me an email with information. I am still waiting for email. This is not a good sign. My previous isp migrate my line with in 24 hours back to Telkom.

Any idea when Telkom is going to deploy the 2Mbps line speeds? I want to make use of the new 2Mbps uncapped but my router syncs still at 1Mbps.

I can't justify that much :(
Compare it to Afrihost's 4Mb uncapped for R397 and you will notice the price is a tad high.
It's even more expensive than OW's 2Mb Gold :(

For interest sake, is it possible to pay a bit extra to get my line to sync to 1MB on the 1st whether telkom upgrades the local exchange or not?

Hi rambo919

If I understand correctly, are you referring to upgrading the line to 1Mb if the line is currently a 384kbps?

For more clarity, can I arrange a consultant to contact you with regards to your question.

I'm thinking you will just be upgrading the line, but bear in mind, if this gets done, Telkom might upgrade the line to 2Mb if they recognise the line as 1Mb, once they start the upgrade process.
 
nah thanks but this was mostly just me thinking out loud. Just annoyed with having no real eta coming from telkom's side I suppose. The noticeboard link is about as helpful as a weather-stone.
