15KB/s is the max a 4MB line can do right?![]()
I can also confirm problems with Mweb the past few days (latency issues). I play Battlefield 3, and the latency jumped to around 500ms on various occasions starting on Friday last week. It happened again today around 6:30pm. and this was on a local server hosted by MWEB.
Here's proof:

As you can see, there are 2 other players besides me with a ping close to 500. We were all using Mweb, no one else on that server was on Mweb (I received confirmation a few minutes later from other players).
MWEBGuy, any news on why this is happening?
Sounds about right. have you checked if you are throttled in your account?
Just switched back to my Mweb 1mb uncapped from my Telkom account, and I couldn't browse. DNS changed to 8.8.8.8 and it came alive. So DNS issues again tonight. When will it stop!!? (Or rather, when will it GO again??).
MWeb's customer service is beyond pathetic. Trying to migrate a line off of MWeb and they're refusing to do so until the end of next month, saying it's not possible, but we just migrated another line from them without hassle! Each time you contact their customer service inquiring about the progress of your case with your reference number, you're assigned a new reference number!

Hey Mweb Guy
Messaged you last week about the over billing and refund. Was quickly phoned and was informed that refund would be sent through on the 6th but nothing yet. Please could you check up on this.
Afternoon, the credit is already reflecting on your account. I have now sent a follow up regarding the refund and when it will be paid to you.
So today I've been dcing from steam only but still able to browse. I don't know what is causing this.
