Hi MWEB Guy,
My father has been with you guys for many years and gets a lot of communication via his mweb.co.za email account.
He now needs to cancel the internet service but is worried about his mailbox - is there any grace period in situations like there where he can cancel the service but his mail will continue to function for a while so he can get another address out to his contacts (many of whom aren't listed in his contact list, so a mass email won't do it)?

We're on a SMALL BUSINESS UNCAPPED PREMIUM - 10MBPS package, located in Constantia. Last week our internet went down for a day, right as we were about to leave for a business trip. This week, upon returning, our line is running at 1/10th speed:

No settings,routers etc etc have been changed on our side. Anyone else in the area having similar problems? Considering that this must have persisted for a week while we were away, I would suspect it's a problem on our line specifically.
It's been about a month of our R4000 a month, 10mb line running at less than 1mb speed with telkom ensuring us that "a technician is attending to the issue" on a daily basis, to no avail. We're trying to run an online business here, we have severe deadlines, and we are completely being screwed over here. PLEASE. ANYONE. Any suggestions on what we can do to have our line fixed? Who do I need to bribe? Who do I need to beg? Who do I need to threaten? We are beyond desperate at this stage.
My 4mbps Standard Line started throttling yesterday. +-110gb is too little, particularly if you're sharing the internet connection with other people in the house.
To make matters worse, the Premium Connection is too pricey.
I honestly wouldn't mind paying R289p/m for 200GB on a 4mbps, that seems to be more balanced.

I have a number of clients affected by this. There is an outage noted on their network status page
