I went through their Facebook page and I cannot understand how the consumers are protecting these unethical practices. The only thing we as the community want to know is the limits. How many people protecting these actions are really MWEB Uncapped users or thinking that they do not abuse their uncapped package? Without stating the thresholds anyone can be assumed as a network abuser by the public. This is like adding a subtle VOETSTOOTS clause to the agreement. How come the public understands so little about ethics, worries me.
It is not about the top 3% users, it is about IDENTIFYING the determined 3% with measurements (parameters) not made known to the public, thus there will always be a 3% (or more by MWEB’s discretion) within the 100% not knowing who will be next in line as a network abuser.
All this means to me is that there will always be a top 3% to be skimmed on top, no matter what the usage.
This comes down that you can already be regarded as an abuser, there is people complaining (who received the warning) on the MWEB FB page who has been with MWEB only 2 months.
The MWEB Guy on Facebook is also extremely arrogant toward their own customers, you cannot tell a customer that their “Analogy is Flawed”, this is like telling them that they are dumb.
Please provide us packages which are suitable in relation with the top 3% abusers.
I really hope that it comes down according to law that these thresholds may not be withhold, it is really questionable that T&C’s (and all related polices) may have hidden conditions. Any MWEB representative should then apologise.
Part of the Mweb AUP they may change and modify the AUP as they please.
