@MWeb Guy: How long is your 24/48-hour response time? This was the only (automated) response that I got from your billing department - received @14:44 on 16 September 2013! Case CAS-2169657-XVX919 refers.

Probably the same as in "We will never throttle"

Hi KingLv

I had a look into your account and it shows the speed limit can be lifted in approximately 2 - 3 days depending on your usage patterns.

My pattern should change in those 2-3 days as I can't browse the net!

Can't even do windows updates!

Back to normal after 4 days of throttling. Last 30 days of usage totals approximately 109GB. Our family is on premium uncapped 1Mbps bundled

Wow after 4 days of throttling ,Mweb let you go back to normal after consuming 109 gigs. You must be a high priority mweb customer.

Since sunday morning this has been the norm for me. Have only used 53 gigs so far this month

The throttling on our connection also started on Sunday. This month, our usage is currently at 60.16GB. I just added the last 12 days of August's usage to come to an approximate rolling 30 day window usage.

What really upsets me is that despite mweb's enthusiastic enforcement of their AUP, I have not noticed any improvement in line speeds. How they can justify alienating a large portion of their customers for no appreciable benefit (to the other customers) is quite beyond me.

so i signed up with afrihost, so far the account is working as advertised. Still throttled on mweb though.

I sent a cancellation request to the cancellation department and received a reference #, but no other correspondance yet, how long does this process take?

To think of all the friends I refered to Mweb over the years because of their amazing packages and service, and now I have to leave on such a sour note, it is a shame really.

Anyone gaming CoD BO2? Noticed lately how horrible jitter is in game? Ping is fine but play is so not smooth anymore. MWEB Hosts the BO2 servers.. coincidence?
