Extremely slow speed with the connection dropping completely at times, restarted the router at least 5 times this morning.

also that page shows 7 problems when I load it... one of them massive

Internet and International on a whole is rather slow tonight! Cannot load Google, Youtube, Facebook and MyBroadband took a good few minutes.

I have checked your account and line and it looks good to me. do a trace route to a local and international site and give me the results

Sorry for the late reply. Its taking a VERY long time to load a local site, despite rebooting my router and asking to be reset at the exchange.

I'm also haviong high pings in Pretoria area. I have no packet loss

Those looks fine to me. Can you setup the router with telkom details and do a speed test on www.saix.net.
Username: guest@telkomadsl

I have to agree with Rickster on this, a 1300ms ping is by no means fine! I was unable to connect to the internet via the Telkom Guest account.

i see on the mweb page a few network outages that might affect some people here

Things cleared up around 10:40pm last night, however the problem has popped up again tonight at exactly the same time. I barely have International access and local is frustratingly slow. I just purchased a Axess Prepaid and everything seems to be fine. :confused:

Good MOrning Schitzo, are you still encountering the issue with international traffic?

Hi Schitzo, how many devices were connected to your router when testing? Did you connect to your router via cable or Wifi? Please test again via cable where applicable and contact the provider who manages your DSL line to recreate your port if the same slow speed issue persists thereafter.
