Good evening Bar_Rat, please advise if its only news servers being affected? Also what speeds are you obtaining?

I havnt been around since i posted this. yeah it only seems to be news servers, torrents are fine. My average speeds are 20-40kb/s.

I have tested on our side and could find no problems with the DL speed and we have no reported issues on our side.

Which news servers is it?

Thats why im posting in this thread. so far its been very positve feedback from everyone but also, i need to consider when things go wrong. Theres plenty of posts about that. Im about to spend 1k a month on a service that is going to be active, mostly when im asleep. Its a lot of money to be throwing to the wind, might as well do some research.

I understand your concern but remember when SEACOM goes down almost EVERY ISP goes down, and their connections get rerouted via their secondary backbones like SAT 32 ect ect ect.... I have faith in MWEBS IPC, never let me down before.

Well im not to clued up with news servers. I use news.mweb.co.za. And the nzbs is from NZBmatrix.

As I've said we have no reported issues on our side and I have tested our News server DL and it's working fine.

This is more of an isolated issue

I can confirm constant drops. It's better today, but for the past week it has been unbearable (line is only up for about 2 minutes, if that, before dropping again).
