Hi Nelis,

Have you brought it to the attention of our Business department? If not, I'll escalate it to them.

MWEB Guy

Yes I did but the lady kept on trying to blame Telkom again.

Still once again I have to praise MWEB; ridiculous I have nothing to complain about with them :D

Very very very, slow ADSL with Mweb accounts in Richmond KZN?

Mweb Guy any outages or problems with DBN POP?

Tried restarting routers, etc....

Also tried a Web Africa Account and my lines are fine?

Hi Hummercellc,

There are no reported issues in the Richmond area. Is it slow to local, international or both? Please provide me with traceroute results to sites that are slow in order for me to look further into it.

Kind regards,
MWEB Guy

Thanks Hummercellc. I sent you a PM, please have a look and keep me posted.

Good MOrning PerfectBlue, please advise how your network is configured? How many active devices? If there was any active traffic when you did the speed test? Is there any noise on your analogue line?

I am happy to report that all seems fine again. I will get in touch if I experience problems again. Thank you for the good service.

I have to say MWEB is just awesome, full line speed during day time on p2p traffic :D HI5:)

Hi MWEB Guy! My ADSL seems to be at it again. Since Sunday, Youtube videos take 2-7minutes to stream and Facebook refuses to load. International websites are slow. Local is fine though. I am experiencing disconnects every few minutes though. :(

I am finding my current MWEB connections terrible:
I have tried to load this page to do a posting 10 times - I keep getting this error:
This web page is not available
Google Chrome could not load the web page because mybroadband.co.za took too long to respond. The website may be down or you may be experiencing issues with your Internet connection.

I struggle to browse - and pages just keep refusing to load.
I have a 1Mb uncapped line - but I seem to be getting dial-up speeds.

Hi Schitzo,

Is this something similar to the issue our technical specialists were in contact with you about?

Kins regards,
MWEB Guy

Hi! Yes its the same problem, although this time its effecting all International browsing. I've had Telkom over thrice and they've reset me at the Exchange as well as changed my filters etc. I'm not sure where to go from here on...

I've been having a lot of trouble.

I think it's Telkom, but they of course are blaming MWEB.

Okay, so before I get into it, one question:

Can your noise margin be influenced by your ISP?

Yes, or no?

Thanks for the information. I have logged for a specialist to contact you tomorrow evening after 6pm in order to assist you.

Kind regards,
MWEB Guy
