MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback

I have another PC on the router and it is connected via Afrihost, as I am now connected via Imaginet. The Mweb connection is dead in the water.

That's strange, please do the reboot or reset and reconfigure and let me know if you are able to re-establish your connection.
 
It'll have to wait ........ it's a bit of a pain when someone is doing work and I can't reboot but that's the only way I can get my Mweb back :(

Restart your router... my connections on Mweb also died just now. A restart fixed it for me.

ok... please let me know as soon as you are able to do the reboot. I await your feedback...
 
Since yesterday I have also been getting about 30-60kb on HTTP downloads, and 30kb on NNTP...

Youtube buffers all the time, Skype is very broken....

Mweb what is going on?

Can't even do a speedtest.

Good MOrning Hummercellc; are you still encountering these problems at the moment?

Please also provide me more detail as to your Skype problem.

Yip still having the same problems.

Skype is very broken in calls, skype call stats shows high packet loss to both International and local calls.

I also can't access any sites hosted on the SAIX network like Telkom.co.za, also emails going to SAIX (telkomsa) come back undeliverable.

Also can't access www.newshost.za.net on Mweb, but I can access it on Afrihost?

Currently running on my Afrihost account and everything is perfect with that account.

Please provide me tracers to some sites hosted on the SAIX network and I will have a technician call you to do some more troubleshooting.

Can't Access anything on SAIX & MTNNS now!

www.mtn.co.za

"cannot display the webpage/Connection to 41.208.19.38 Failed"

and a few others, is there a cable break somewhere?

All the sites above work on my Vodacom 3G, 8ta 3G & Afrihost DSL account.

Guys I have tested using 3G, Telkom and MWEB and cannot access newshost on any of the connections.

I can however access the following sites:

www.mtn.co.za
www.mtndirect.co.za
www.telkom.co.za

Just thought i would tell you, our internet is back up now, but we must try and fix the issue of having to phone and recreate the port

Hi MWEB guy.
My ping for any international site is >300. Spiking at around 1200.
After getting off the phone with MWEB call centre, sending tracert and ping screenshots, I was told that this is 'normal'.
Please help.
