Hi Mwebguy,

Did you guys recieve any actual feedback from telkom regarding issues in the moreleta park area?

Because I have logged a fault with telkom twice now and everytime they eventually call me the tech guy says everything seems fine on their side...

Good Morning, Telkom have not given us any confirmation of a problem at the exchange or DSLAM either. We are logging individual faults for our clients as well.

I hope we are able to get some joy though, cause clients on different networks are complaining about the Moreleta park area.

IMHO someone screwed the profiles up without the dslams be ready or connected to the metrolink. I see my router now magically wants to sync above 4 meg.... so... tired... of... incompetence. well done telkom, I will be claiming back the days without service from accounts.

I have tested this and I am able to access it without any trouble.
 
I have trouble sending mail from outlook. my port has been changed to 587. I am sending mail from MWEB and another mail and both not working. I will pm you my account details

I'm using a mail hosted by texo. but having issues with gmail and our own. tested with gmail on another port and it works but not on 587. so please assist urgently we can't send mail and we need it very urgently.

Like I said it's on both lines.

Please could u check if we are syncing at 4mb! I don't know if the project is finished yet but they meant to hook up the fibre cabinets soon and transfer us, I'm not at home though

You guys are syncing below 4096kbps, you are actually suncing at 3360kbps.
 
:( can some one explain what mweb considers abuse, got my second abuse email today(first one i admit i downloaded a bit much) but i haven't downloaded during the day and ive used roughly the same amount that i usually use on a monthly bases ,i just want to see what i can do so i don't get kicked. i am using the same download method that i have bin using since i got the account

Can you clarify what that method is, please?
