Hi Mweb guy

My NNTP downloads have been very slow lately. usually hovering around 30-40 kb, a few weeks ago they were maxing out around 100.

Has something changed or can you reset my account.

Hi Reaper84,

I have refreshed your MWEB account. Please test in the next 30min and also keep in mind NNTP DL speeds are not guaranteed as you have a shaped account and shaping is dynamic on our network.

If you are looking for constant speed, I'll advise you look into our unshaped offerings.

Thanks. Yeah I know it's shaped just used to be faster at night and on weekends. I will only be able to test a little later, will let you know
 
This up and down connection is becoming tiresome...

On WA backup works fine...

My connection keeps on dropping. I called telkom to reset my port and it's not my line that is on 10mb/s. please don't change it to slower than it currently is. please check for me will inbox you the account number

My connection suddenly dropped and I felt connection was sluggish. Restarded router and I'm getting 16kb/s on 4mb line on http download. Line attenuation and noise is fine. Cmon, 16kb/s? It feels like 1995 all over again -_-

Speed issues as per my speed tests above.

Edit: Seems to be better now. Weird how it kinda just died like that. If you did anything then thanks Mweb guy.

If the speed issue persists, please do a comparative ping, tracert & speedtest with the 2 accounts.

@MWeb guy. Speeds and gaming lag today are really bad. Tell me what is the significance of refreshing the account? Please explain.
 
Mweb Guy, can you please refresh my account. I have a 6 Mbps line with a 4 Mbps account, and when I use a download accelerator with 8 threads to download a speed test file, I get between 20-50KB/s. Most sites dont open on first load.

On my Axxess account I am getting 600KB/s on the same line.

I will pm you my details.

AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH YYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAA!

I tested my account right before Mweb guy pmed me and it was still awful at 10-20KB/s.

Right afterwards he changed some settings and now it is running like a dream. 400KB/s +
