MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback

So far these past 2 weeks Mweb has been running really well. Really happy.

I won 10 games on Steam yesterday and as great as it is, downloading the games isn't fun. haha
Arkham City alone is 16.9GB. Thank goodness for uncapped.

Tman you really shouldn't need to be doing all these session resets, there must be an underlying problem that keeps slowing you down. I'll chat to MWEB Guy in the morning about doing a more thorough investigation into this :)
 
Hi Will@Mweb...

I think the problem is that I can reset my router but I do not get an new DHCP ip addy, I had one of ur tech guys on the line the other day, and he said I must try changing my account detail from biz to mweb.co.za, tried that last night first and still same IP it did not change... Any idea's?

Hi TmanSA,

Thanks for the information. I would advise to do a router reset, please ensure you have your username and password at hand. Please can you also keep an eye on it and when it does go slow, if you can do a continuous ping and traceroute and provide us the results in order to see if there is any packet loss.

Please monitor and keep me informed.

Getting awesome speeds for the last week! Even the torrents are flying :D Thanks for the EXCELLENT service!
 
International is wonky again ..... about 30 more ping than usual on DDO and I have 1.5-7% packet loss ingame too.

Local is hundreds and the news server is also fine.

Good evening Mephisto_Helix, is the packet loss evident when doing a ping to an international site as well? Please provide me pings and tracers to international sites.

We have no reported outages pertaing to international at the moment.
 
can www.kotaku.com actually be loaded it just "hangs", funny enought trace + ping seems fine :confused:
