Oh, tried the MyBB speedtest - local is fine, but international comes up with an error with latency testing so stops there.

Tried auto DNS:
Preferred : 196.28.75.200
Alternate: 196.28.182.10

and Google's
Preferred: 8.8.8.8
Alternate: 8.8.4.4

International is painfully slow and times out most of the time.

MyBB Speedtest results same as Bern's, international test result ,"Latency Test Error: Latency Test returned an error while trying to read the latency test file". Local test is as expected, normal connection results.
