No. Telkom line is fine.

Not my line. But it's calmed down now ....... other pc was dialed up to AH and didn't drop once but my Mweb dial up dropped a few times.

Good MOrning Mephisto_Helix, are you referring to your dial up connection that keeps dropping?

Just an Update : got a reply from abuse department today they sent a graph highlighting a week were i downloaded 25gbs a day ,now altho that is alot on a 6mb line wouldn't that be about 12 hours a day.

On a 4Mbps line, the max is around 1.5 gigs an hour, I think.

Do you have a 4Mbps account with MWEB, or a 10Mbps?

If 4, then you are nearly maxxing out your line the whole day and night.

If so, how is this possible, without bypassing the shaping somehow?

im on 4mb with mweb but what ive seen from steam i sometimes get a steady 500+ kbps,to download im just using jdownloader and netload premium

Seems that way, I have noticed that some of those type sites seem to slip under your radar.

I just cannot fathom how devdev666 was managing 25 gigs a day if it is shaped.

I'm not sure what communication you have had with them, but explain what you have done, the way you explained here. They will be able to tell you in more detail.
