MWEB Uncapped - something big might be happening tomorrow!

hehe well thats actualy another straw too many from DSTV / MWEB / NASPERS. You guys really do sux.
 
I think everyone will have to do something to help this along, Hellkom will have to reduce fees for me to even think of using DSTV O.D.
 
*wonders if the Mweb PR people are frantically running around trying to find something else to announce*

Perhaps we've busted them with their WAing of the whole thing and they're going to push something forward now :P
 
Its not the WOW announcement that uncapped was, but its still something pretty decent if you ask me.
 
yup... I think that is the announcement we have been waiting for.... not really THAT amazing....
 
The actual change is that they have removed it from other providers and its now only available form MWEB. So there you go, anti competitive behaviour I would say...

Ok.

So how is this different to anyone who currently owns a PVR?

It's streaming, so you wont actually get the file (unless you can somehow use Grabit).

Basically, for the same price, we can now watch the stuff that was on last night? DSTV repeats everything 100 times anyway, so you never get to miss anything.

This is a goddamn waste of my time.

And utterly irrelevant to anyone who does not have a DStv subscription. MWeb shouldn't hype something if it is not applicable to all their subscribers :(
