When's the backup bandwidth gonna kick in? Agonizingly slow international is better than no international

Any why are local connections so slow?

Maybe they don't have any backup

Because the uncapped accounts are so cheap that they cant afford it.

I can think of a lot of reasons , but maybe they are just slow at getting it up OR they are waiting to see if SEACOM comes back online before they have to pay extra

So google.com is a torrent? Nice. There is no backup bandwidth in place for Capped or Uncapped accounts at the moment (MWEB) , Bussiness accounts apprently still have access.

EDIT : It seems even on Business Accounts not everyone has International access

Geez, I've had internet all day, local and international, still not the fastest (5-6kb/s) just as it has always been but I still got access to it though. Anyway I hope it gets fixed soon for you guys.

And I really really hope that my speeds get fixed.

This has probably been covered but has anyone managed to contact MWEB tech on their 0860 112252 number? Line stays engaged. I then thought I'd call the sales line but that just rang and rang and..... rang. Called my mate at MWEB on his cell only to hear their phone system is down too, also linked to SEACOM is it [sic]?????

Shame.. mine has been excellent up to now. Speeds of up to 430kB/s on torrents..
