Thanks for the feedback mweb. Really hope you get it fixed before Friday. At least I now know it isn't just me.
Btw, while I'm at it. During the day my internet is extremely slow. By slow I mean I can hardly open Facebook. Nevermind downloading. My torrents sit at 2-3 kb/s (wich I understand, its shaped), but even my http downloads is crawling at 4-10kb/s, and I have a 4mbps line...then suddeny it picks up at around 18:00. I mean it can't be just shaping, because I cannot even browse or check my mail.
Any help Mweb??

I also noticed this even before seacom went down, really slow during the day and after 5 or so it is fast.
that wasn't exactly feedback, its exactly what was stated yesterday. Limited to browsing and mail.

Fixed before Friday? They have to haul a ship out to where the repeater is located, that will take a day or two, then they have to pull the cable up - a delicate operation I'm sure. They have to replace the faulty repeater and then lay the cable again. Before Friday? Try next week Monday, Tuesday rather.

@MWEB Ops, Let me be one of the few to say thanx for getting us going, allbeit a little limping. At least its working! Managed to sign onto steam last night and play MW2 with no problems. I can get my gmail, and even still download http stuff. So thanx for that!

Thanks. but what I meant with my previously stated problem, is its been happening for about more than a month now. So I'm hoping you can maybe advise me on a possible solution or check my account for any 'errors' there? I have called Telkom, and they say it isn't them..as usual :/ Thanks in advance
This is weird, I'm with MWEB and I was getting FULL speed last night on ALL my downloads...I did about 11GB's. I was very pleasantly surprised that all my stuff was almost done when I woke up (including Lesnar vs Carwin HD
