@MWEB Ops - Thanks man, can't believe ur monitoring forums on a Sat evening at 8pm LOL. Speed not improving and I have reset my modem (P2P now at around 12kb/s on a Saturday night with well seeded torrents). Will see how night DL's go tonight and take it from there. Goodness knows I've had a good run since the upgrade last weekend! @Cosmic_Nomad shot for the feedback, must be regional.

Mine's also running about half speed now, haven't been around & monitoring it since this late morning

Not to rain on MWEB's parade but the other side to that coin is that if there were not a slew of complaints there'd be far less need for that kind of dedication.

Still, impressive, considering the track record of some other companies that would do well to have representatives on this site.
 
Nearly everything gone tits-up this side...no utube or newsgroups, websites not loading...worst it's been.

Just a question. I say I'm getting half speeds, and get no response, another user says he's getting half speeds, and gets a response.

Is it me?

I still cannot connect to news servers at all, by the way.

Youtube has become unwatchable for me on my 4 meg line, it buffers for ages :(

Tried twice now to download the Firefox 4, most I've gotten is 7 out of 10 megs.

There is clearly a problem here.

Awaiting feedback.

International news server is running at full speed for the first time in I dont know how long.
I almost forgot what it fely like being on a 4mb line.

Hope this isnt a temp thing.

Edit:
I spoke to soon: As 8am hit, speeds dropped from being in the upper 400s to being about 300.
So even on Sunday morning the shaping doesnt take a break.

Edit:
Speeds have dropped by another 30kb, so my guess is that shaping is getting tougher and tougher as the day goes on.

And yet another twist - now WoW is running fine again, prior to 8am this morning it was terrible... the shaping plot thickens...

Aye, confirmed. Had a good run in the early hours. This is a mixture of P2P and HTTP. At 8AM zigzactly I lost about 25% and it's quickly dropping to half. Just don't understand why the shaping is so heavy on the weekend man. I predict 40% line speed by lunch..
