HTTP is so slow, trying to open up webpages are painfully slow. Quite ridiculous
 
Us 384k users are fine, rorrenting is fine. well, 20kb fine but better than 4kb or something stupid.
 
Issues I logged with Mweb about slow international speeds...........now 3 weeks and counting. :mad:

Every time I call or log another fault, response is the same:

"Our engineers is still investigating this, I will let you know as soon as I have more information.

Hi, I got the guys to have another look at this and give you a call tomorrow.
 
Playing online with Bad Company 2 is terrible, latency is shocking and also pages are loading terrible slow

Is it only now that you having this or does it happen often? If often then PM me your DN number then I will check for possible congestion on your exchange.

With all due respect, but why does anyone have to private message or anything.

Its not rocket science to see a trend. And the trend is that your uncapped product offering is non performing. Just do your analysis.

There is 5870 posts. You have got more then enough information to see unhappy customers and issues.

Please what ever shaping or what ever you guys are doing either lighten up on the shaping or just plain fix it.

If you cant deliver. Just be honest with us and let us customers make an informed decision.

Its not rocket science that most people do not complain if nothing is wrong. As you correctly spotted, and pointed out that its not rocket science, most post here are complaints.

Of the 5870 posts you will find a few from people like me that are very happy with the service we get from Mweb.

We understand that for the money we pay we will get a shaped service and we know what to do if we want an unshaped service.

Some of us happy users also know what is shaped when so we know what traffic to do at what times, and that is how we get 500GB a month.

BTW, do you have a program on your computer called Grabit?
 
My details and experience is not that much different from anyone else having problems. Im sure they get the idea.

Secondly I don't logs call via Mybb I call Mweb, so much so, im beginning to think im on a first name basis with Mwebs contact center.

Thirdly, im of the opinion we are all ignored. 5800 post in this thread alone. Im beginning to think this thread is the new 'Thread Killer'. Anyway you do the math.

I was just pointing out that since people do not complain when nothing is wrong it is only normal that 95% of the posts are complaints. On the very few occasion that I did call Mweb my problems were resolved first time round by people that knew what they were talking about. So if you have persistent problems it will most likely not be Mweb but your telkom line or inferior routers fault. Lastly, do you ever use news groups?

I suggest other people especially those of you in Cape Town to try Mweb, it kicks a$$.
 
Mmm, guess they did not bluff when they said its a shaped account then :D

For someone who claims to know so much about protocols and the internet alike, you clearly don't know the difference between shaping and throttling. If someone is getting 30kB/s on a 4mbit line that is throttling not shaping. And i've read numerous posts here that their browsing experience is just as shoddy as there downloading one.
