Greetings, ladies.
Decided to jump over to MWeb. Let's see how this goes.
So far everything is perfect
Aside from a minor billing er... pickle which I'm sure will be sorted out (was told it would be charged pro-rata but er... it currently says there's a balance of R1112.77
So far, can't complain![]()
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE ?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I dont see how that has any relevance to the throughput of WoW port. Its simply an issue of limiting bandwidth on that port. TCP 3724. My unshaped WebAfrica account is completely stable at 200 ms in game and pinging Battleping. No matter what I do my latency does not move. With Mweb Uncapped Shaped, for the past 2 weeks I have been unable to do even the simplest of tasks without having a 500-900+ms ping. Its clearly not Telkoms fault. Changing peoples lines from 512 to 1mb is not going to affect me unless they are all Mweb Uncapped users and also upgraded their Mweb Accounts. This fault lies COMPLETELY with Mweb. They are shaping my gaming port. The throughput is non-existant. It is getting beyond a joke. I cant keep spending R100 every 4 days on other Bandwidth because Mweb decided to shape my gaming port. FIX IT NOW MWEB.
Wait till between 11am and 2pm and the massive amounts of QQ will start which will last the whole week again. I hope im wrong, but lets see if my prediction comes true![]()
I use battleping. I have for over a year. Its like WTFast but BETTER. Its the best proxy service I have ever used to reduce WoW ping. I havent had problems with Mweb since 2 weeks ago when they decided that they needed to change their shaping rules. Now WoW is getting Shaped and due to that fact, even WITH a proxy service I am getting unplayable latency.
