This. Now acknowledge that there is a problem and tell us what you plan to do about it! This kak has gone on long enough now. I feel like it needs to be on Carte Blanche before we will get anything done. Save us Derek Watts, we need you!

The line upgrade is complete and the package upgrade from Mweb was done today as Mweb Guy said it would. Latency on WoW is on 240-250ms without WTFast proxy service and sub 200ms with WTFast. I'm in Cape Town and it seems there's less issues in the Southern Suburbs then Northern. Maybe I'm wrong so please correct me. And that most of these are from 4mbps customers nationally and much less from 512(1mbps) and 386kbps clients.

P2P is good and I'm getting my line speed so yippy for me and :love: you Mweb!!! So please don't go and break my heart *sniff sniff* I'll never be able to trust agian :)

MWEB. I have submitted en email to you requesting the cancellation form. If this **** affects me by this time next week im requesting cancellation at the end of the month, and NEVER coming back.

Now that i have said this and made the request. Watch me go from 20k/s to 5k/s

My international access may be bad.. but local is doing very well

At the moment, I cant connect at all to astraweb.,however I am getting 100kb from mweb News.

Something wrong at the moment ... had to try three times to get here, and my Hetzner e-mail is timing out off and on.
 
If only my nvidia drivers can go faster than the 12 KB/s!!!
 
Yep, same here - everything is slow and pages struggle to load. Streaming video's online lately has also gone bad for me. This morning I downloaded a file from cnet and got 20kb/s on my 4mb line. It's worse then 384 line.

That's great, but what about those of us who do not want to download things, but want to stream live feeds or watch streaming media of other kinds. Can I browse using multiple threads?
 
eish, just giving feedback as per forum thread topic....
just giving an indication that here in edenvale http downloads are fine
youtube 720p is also streaming fine

my internet is *****. using DAP to download team speak, only getting 80kbps. youtube at 240p needs to buffer..... 4mbps uncapped.
 
5pm rolls along and even the local speeds slow down..

My machine has been downloading between 60k to 100k all day from the mweb news server. and now its only 20k.

I wish I could actually connect to my astraweb account, but that only works after 1am..
