My internet is dead tonight, cannot browse or download anything. Mweb guy is unable to help me. Dont bother.

whats up with the news server downloads? I am using news deamon and I am paying that extra R70 and I am getting shaped down to 70kb/s and its 22:50 .... come on mweb really... how can you call this "fast downloads"

Not really sure how to conduct a ping test on 2 machines running on separate networks but I assume ping 41.135.xx.xx would do it. That returns a "request timed out" message...

Are you guys able to test with an alternate account? I would like to ascertain if it is the STEAM servers that are problematic.

Terumo, please advise if you have tried the following as yet?

Go to: C:\Program Files\Steam
Rename: ClientRegistry.blob
to: ClientRegistry.old

Then start the steam client, The client then should re update it's self. (Note: Do not worry about loosing any of your games as this will only prompt the steam client to re update).

Do you get a response when you ping or do a tracer to the servers?

I don't know the exact server to ping/trace, can you help me on that front?
