Seems theres a problem in Cape Town with MWEB. IS is working fine.

Yep definitely something wrong, 2000ms pings to SA based sites even. I'm in Green Point Cape Town.

This happened to me last night as well... strange! It seems to be fixed now for me. Brackenfell - Cape Town

There's something wrong with my internet connection. Umtata - Eastern Cape.

EDIT: It's working now :D Want to know what went wrong. Thanks MWeb for the fast response :D

MWEB just drops connection whenever the **** they please. Its actually ridiculous how shocking their service is.

Think its time to look for greener pastures...

Mweb contacted me to transfer my telkom line rental to them. kewl! I'm gonna save R3... Sign me up!

No problem. NOT. Now my uncapped account has been migrated to 2GB capped account!

now I'm gonna have to phone them on monday... (oops no sorry TUESDAY) to try and rectify this!
