MWEB Uncapped Subscribers Feedback

My news downloads from mweb also dunked, so I'm back on my telkom account downloading from news.mweb and getting 39KB - Full speed for my 384! The irony,hey :) Meanwhile I'll keep monitoring the other uncapped ISPs to determine which is the least restrictive...Let's hope this is just a blip again and not the norm...
 
i thought i was the only one with krap speeds!

my 4mb line was crawling at 20kb/s

24hrs ago i was pulling 438kb/s!

switched to afrihost and its much better!
 
still though, i will give them till the end of the month to stabilise.
after all, this is a new service and surely they wont go DC on us!
 
william riker are you on the Mweb trial account? that could be the reason why your getting poor speeds on 4mbit and the trial account is limited to 512

i'm on free 4mb account and no mention by mweb that it would be limited...

it was flying at 438 kb last night, maybe speeds were lowered today ?
 
log into the site where you active your mweb account, you will see at the bottom it 512k DSL account instead of 4096 like last night.
 
I don't know what you guys doing but my connection is FLYING full speed on international torrents.
 
My thoughts exactly!
They did say you could upgrade to 4mbit account by paying the difference but a few guys here on the forum have tried with no luck.
