Axxess prepaid - R 69 from any P + P or Engen - lasts up to 12 months. It's what I'm using (sparingly, while I wait for MWEB).

Edit: Pick up the pace MWEB, I have internets that need abusing.

At least my installation of Ubuntu 10.4 beta could update via local servers on my netbook.. If it wasn't for the 300min wifi minutes I use often at wifi hotspots.. I would not have chosen mweb.. then again.. I've got 2 dsl connections and will choose axxess.co.za or sumthing for the rest. ;)
 
Well if this is not sorted by tomorrow morning i am moving.

Annoying mweb are the only ones having problems and makes me wonder if this is being done on purpose. Mweb i have never trusted and i should have waited before signing :(.
 
Mweb is down even for their capped customers.Thank god for FNB connect.Mweb if this is going to happen to your loyal customers with unsought through offerings you will lose your loyal customers as well.
 
You people want to jump ship from one tiny bit of service interruption, rather pathetic. Could happen to any ISP
 
Yeah, crazy, if people are going to jump ship every time they have downtime then they'll be growing through 3 isp's a month.
 
i was logged into my axxess express+ account during the outage. the speed on youtube on 720p video is quite something. i hope the mweb service will eventually come to that level.
 
so is the service at speed or still shoing signs that it was recently sick?
 
Really people, if you are going to jump ship at the drop of a hat like this then perhaps you should be starting your own ISP, the problem could have happened to anyone! Since its been back online I've been absolutely blitzing! Well done MWeb for sorting out what I imagine to be a massive problem, relatively quickly.

yep the axxess express+ is definitely superior in terms of streaming. but for the saving i'm not too bummed.
 
Wow, you people get edgy when the net goes down, and then it was just international :D

If I have learned anything in my years of being 'connected', you need more than one ISP :D

Let the raping commence!
