Just RDC'd into my home PC to check on it and my downloads (FDM) are doing 20KB/s but here at work (Vodacom line) when I queue up the same file, 400KB/s!

maybe some areas were affected differently by the fibre break ? is that possible ?

Yesterday at 11:45pm my downloads were still only going at 10kbps....
So this "during the day" story is bs, its just slow all the time with mweb actually. Im giving them time to sort it out but its very annoying not being able to to what i want, what im paying for.

+1 . My speed (4mb line) is crap, regardless of day or night.
This service is the slowest out of all my accounts, no matter what time of day.
Pissed off really.

my torrents were fine until 3hrs ago when they were pushing 50kb/s on my free 521 account....
now back to 4kb/s..it was great while it lasted.

Things are looking pretty good atm..I'm actually enjoying Mwebs uncapped
Browsings been smooth, http downloads been quick, torrents have been at expected shaped speeds but have also had some pretty quick periods during the day. Still haven't given the news servers a shot or any games today, will try later. Never thought I'd say this about Mweb over Afrihost but yeah So far so good Mweb!

.Yeah well they pretty much told us that gaming might be a bit poor during the day but should be good after hours..but yeah we will confirm over the next few days..looks like killadoob has got some good pings there..

Dude bare in mind games.saix.net is in jhb far as i know, so people pinging it from CT durbz etc will sit at around 30-60ms ping. Mine is so low because i am in jhb but fish those pings look perfect considering you are in durbs.
