X dude the pings should be fine all day long, last week my pings were fine all day. I think IS was having issues which they have resolved, will check my pings again tomorrow morning but last week the entire week my pings were 14ms anytime of the day, started with high pings after the mweb black out of 2010 :D

I have no issues not being able to game in the day (You should be at work, anyways ;) ) - I just wanna know that come 5pmish, my pings will drop to IS levels (30ms or so when pinging games.saix.net/telkomsa.net)

Oh ya..work hey..no gaming while at work  especially if you have a home office :D

Anyway I think we'll only know fully what its going to be like in a few weeks, once Mweb sort out all the issues and the total number of sign ups stabilizes..I'm pretty sure more people are going to sign up for this..so we have yet to see what kind of experience it is with the contention ratios maxed out..

Your download speed is 52 KBytes/s and you are complaining!?!?!?!?! That's impossible

WTF MWEB, I just signed up today and paid you R270 for 2 days worth of uncapped and look what you do:

Wonder if it's certain areas of the country that's slow?

Second Life is a joy on here for me. Latency seems to be above 300ms, but most of the time below 600ms, making it quite usable. I'm not too worried about slow torrents, I don't DL a lot and they can just run in the background.

could be certain areas, im sure not all the mweb customers connect to one point, so i think we connect to regional access points.. im not 100% sure, completely basing this on my own understaning.

Mweb horribly slow in Wilgers area of Pretoria :(

Its buffering my freaking 32kbit/s AAC Radio station -.-
