If you want 800gb a month you have chosen the wrong package marine, it was never a 1tb a month package. 200-300gb yes, although some peeps did close to 500gb last month but you want something more expensive than 539 a month.

So you are complaining because mweb is not giving you 800gb a month for 539 basically from what i can tell. This is not the fault of mweb it says the account is not for 24/7 downloading.

Is anyone finding this site slow? All other sites fly but the last few days myBB has been timing out and slow for me anyhow.
 
I have the same issue, maybe its just maintenance. I was playing wow and boom, gone, I dont hope its SEACOM again
 
Did anybody notice a major timeout on MWeb between 08h15 and 08h35? I'm in CT, and couldn't access the majority of sites (local and internaitonal). Tracert stopped after 3 hops!?

Timing overlaps. The MWeb status page was only updated after the fault was resolved...

Probably some one playing with switches again for the hell of it....look here, when I do this half of SA will have no internet then run to their phones & Telkom makes some weekend draught money, cool hey :)
 
Some ppl reported their service is back up, well this might be due to your location, im from klerksdorp and service is still down. stupid windows7 reports there is internet, I would have thought that windows would ping www.msn.com or some windows domain to establish if there is internet, like the playstation 3 pings playstation network to establish if there is internet connection. How clever microsoft.

I need to make the following statement.
If you were thinking of moving to the MWeb home adsl option, Let me save you some time and frustration.
Dont move the the MWeb home ADSL option!!!!!

The MWeb ADSL option is a shaped option, shaped to the extend that it is not usable.
You will not be able to download your microsoft updates.
You will not be able to browse youtube.
You cannot download from Rapishare.
You cannot join a webex meeting
You will not be able to make SIP calls over this line.
Your VIOP PABX will nto work over this line.

The reason that i can "Cannot" is purly because the line is shaped that you can only us 1-2Kb of your 4Meg line. And this is after business hours, i have to think what they do in business hours.

In a nushell, i have bought a 4Meg home ADSL line, it is completly useless.
MWeb shape this line into the ground,
I had my Mweb aco**** for a couple of hours and then cancelled it. It is useless.

Sounds like yet another mole :D.

I might take you seriously if it seemed for one second like you even use their service. Go troll somewhere else :D.
