Anyone here migrate their line to Mweb? Or did you keep your line with Telkom and get uncapped from Mweb?

@Swift-wp Okay thanks because it seems that my speed was fine although as soon as my line finally got migrated to Mweb my speed dropped to dial-up speeds.
I seriously doubt that is the reason. Remember if the line gets 'moved' to MWeb, it still goes through Telkom, except that it is through the wholesale division.
My speedtest at midnight on a 4MB/s line with Mweb 4096 All inc. package.

Is it just me or does both those Screenshots show TELKOM as your ISP and not MWEB?

@Swift-wp Yeah I know that it doesn't technically get 'moved' although Mweb told me that something could have gone wrong during the migration process
@Auntpol Omw, I didn't even notice, although I do have screenshots from 22/06 to 29/06 and they all say Mweb is my ISP, now I'm really confused.

Okay, just contacted Mweb and they told me that it's because my username is [email protected] and not [email protected] and it means that I'm running on the saix network
Is that good or bad?

Not good because those low speedtest.net results cannot be blamed on mweb then surely?
They told me to remove the dsl as well and my problems were the same which means mweb was not to blame.

My MWeb router has a drop-down box for the @... part of the username, so there are only fixed options available to me. @mweb is not an option on mine.

@killadoob Yeah I was also told to change and it didn't make any difference and now my @dslmweb doesn't work at all I have to use @mweb. I was also told to try @tiscali and @dsl512two but none worked.
@SabreWolfy My Telkom router also only had a drop down box, then I upgraded my firmware and it seemed to have removed it.

Well , if you're using an MWEB acccount and its saying you are using Telkom as your ISP , then I'd get that checked out
Mweb have asked people with problems to use a proxy which routes through SAIX. It will indicate when the problems are Mweb's. So he has an Mweb account with an option to link through Telkom.
