True story. :)

Still, my latencies to London are utter rubbish. Can't game at all :( Regularly they are around 230-260 but now they are 380+...



Still... 16mbps... wow, gimme back my 4meg and decent latencies please :) (Oh yeah, and I know that I don't have a real 16meg line but its nice to dream :p)

Is there something down? International is up to shyte.
 
They should change their name to FlashWEB cause they flashback to all the speeds we were tired off in the 80's
 
Yup, I can confirm, also downloading at 10kb/s international. Im so sick of this bullSH#t, everything was working perfectly an hour ago, and now all of a sudden, MWEB screwed it all up again. Nice going MWEB.
 
Can't really tell what's going on, but severe congestion and packet loss on tracert. Last week it was one of the links to London that was down (not SEACOM itself). Seems to be about 9KB/sec on a 4Mb line here...

Edit: The CINX traffic graph looks horrible, seems a lot of users are affected:

my torrents are dead 5-10kbs max, least mweb can do is give feedback.

looks like i might use that cancellation form after all....

Don't bother with torrents. It's a no go. 0.5kb on my side. Funny how the 1st 5min of the torrents always go at full speed then dip to 0.
 
Weird traffic

I also started to get problems now with my 4mb.

News donwloads not working...blinking stop and start.
Local HON servers timing out etc...
Youtube very slow.

Normal browsing seems to be fine but any data transfer such as youtube buffer or nntp slow or doesnt work.

Restarted PC and reset router but sill got problems.
 
We are experiencing a problem with one of our International links. P2P services are running on reduced capacity until the link is restored. Seacom are investigating and we will update you as soon as we have an ETR.

An explanation would be in order, as this is the fourth time, in just as many weeks that your links have gone to shyte.
Im okay with it though, working overtime till 12pm lol
 
International for me - simply installing / downloading samba and samba client on Ubuntu 10.10 took ages at about 15h30 this afternoon - haven't checked anything else.

Same here. I can browse on most site with some exclusions being really slow. YouTube and hotfile downloads and currently really slow or non existent...
Tried with Afrihost account and also experiencing same problems...
