currently getting 12 kb/s download rate on wow PTR :( on 4mb/s , still no eta ? , really getting out of hand considering we have a problem and users on the sat3 are fine.

Account problems here. Speedtest at 1.5 Mb - 2Mb. SAIX account stays at 3.6Mb. Latency also erratic.

Hi Nookie, please inbox me your MWEB email address.

Hi nakedhousee, please inbox me screenshots of your download rates; also please confirm how many downloads your running?

Nookie what destination are you using on speedtest?

PM Sent.

Anything, tried all London/Joburg/Cape Town ones.

Latency in WoW is currently at 6000 and cannot log into STO. WTF not working either.

My SAIX accounts work fine though.

OK seems to be getting better again, shaping gone wild mayby? I suppose its understandable with all the upgrades, all the networks that need to adapt to new levels of traffic, probably a good thing 384 lines are getting upgraded last, i imagine a few exchanges blowing up spectacularly from all the new traffic, it helps having a good imagination

Yes I agree with you on that DurbanMonkey !

I am paying for a unshapped account but getting shaped into the ground!

Phoned mWeb and they just say phone telkom as your line isn't with us......

They are fiddling with something as for one my upload is pumping and the Http downloads were flying like I have never seen.

Normal South African solution is suck it up and take it.

Now its crawling along at 4.

Hi Cosmic, are you running simultaneous downloads and uploads?

Well not to add on to band wagon ,yet it seems I am , I have also been struggling to maintain anything close to a decent download , last week I upgraded to the 1meg telkom and mweb 1 meg uncapped .I had 2 days of between 90 to 100 and then this 384 speed , like most on this forum I am not a novice user and been trough the checks , suffice to say that Afrihost 1 gig tops out at max speed the same with the saix .
I play lots of online games now and yesterday could not even get onto the BOPS server that is hosted by mweb , to be fair I tried a ftp download yesterday at 9 or so and got max speed till 11 then it dropped to 40kbs.

Currently as I look at my download its crawling along at 13 kbs , should I have stuck with the 384 .
Like Mephy buffering is insane worst than on 384 .

Hope you guy can give us a reasonable solution , or answer to the speed issues. Might sound crude but I would like what I am paying for , telskum is holding up there part ,what about you guys .

Hi Mweb Guy !

eMule running on server down stairs. so that has downloads going up and down ( but better uploading )>

So that would be a yes.

Hi Venom

Please DM me your mweb account details and some screen shots illustrating your download speeds. Also please confirm if you are downloading torrents?

Same here, also in Durban getting very erratic speeds.

goes from 30kb down to 5kb and does that constantly. Odd. Only a news server running.

HTTP is fine.

Its 3de day in a row now that no mweb subscribers can play COD-BO online
All the servers getting hosted by Mweb but only mweb users cant play.
This is pushing me to a point where i have to look at a new ISP.

Mweb plz sort this out ASAP

Please inbox me more detail as to what you are experiencing and I will have our game master do the relevant testing. Please also provide me your MWEB accoutn details.

Noticed an increase of speed at about 19:00, no where near what it should be though. Getting a bit frustrated now, it's been 4 freaking days!

I was just disconnected from WoW, went to do speedtest, and sure enough both local and international is pathetically slow

Anyone know a good dial-up ISP? I might just have a more stable connection using that :wtf:
