I have been having issues as well, called the support line and still no help!!! uhmmm Did i mention I did tech support before so I should know what I am talking about??
was promised a call back, wonder where than is going to happen since they close @ 10pm hmmmm....... I am really cheesed off.... so far been great but the past couple of days have`nt been good.
Chatted to four different tech support and No 1 can help, is anyone in cape town using the news servers and getting bad speed? or is it only me?
would like to know

ATM it sucks..., Using only 1 PC I get No youtube... NO http downloads, NO https downloads. Slooooow http browsing and Fair https browsing..... Now try that with 4 PC's at home.... I have had to use a webafrica account for the past week... are MWEB gonna reimburse me for the days of lost/NO connectivity... i think not...

I find it strange, there must be some other issue. i am ATM downloading on P2P at a ridiculous 15KB/s DL 13KB/s UL and on Newsserver 44.5 KB/s DL and watching Lady Gogga - Judas at 420p no buffering at 720p it's irritating. Not at all spectacular but it's going.

With all going except U-tube (Lady Gogga is done)

@ Tony A have to say you one of the lucky ones I guess, I have been nagging with the tech support, told that there is definitely something up, some where...... still waiting for that call

Very much doubt that.... especially if you're using Mweb... ?

I also mostly get the same testing local and London apart from the ping.

I'm so sick and Tired of MWEB. Trying to play Black ops online with endless issues!!! What other isp can I use? I play Black ops every night and also download serieses.

@ MegasXLR i wish I was getting any near that speeds for the news server, mine is below that, finally after 4 days, i get to log a support ticket for the specialists, hmmm but guess what, I only get the call tomorrow evening, guess I have to wait agian.....

I think there is an issue with the Wbeb setup as the speeds on all areas fluctuation up and down like a Yo-Yo. Never constant like I am used too. That goes for browsing too one moment the page is fast, refresh and it miss some details or remain slow, then fast again. I see the same trend in the Bandwidth graphs of the News server and P2P downloads.

Hey Will, tell your engineers that shaping to "create" bandwidth if the server is congested or overloaded just creates more problems, ask Telkom they can confirm that, rather increase the bandwidth.

Think you right there
