MWEB Uncapped Subscribers Feedback

Haven't been able to connect to the news server for the last two days. Can the MWeb guys help me out? Yes I've shut down my router/pc etc.
 
News server has experienced some death ...... was fine the whole day, now not a connection for like an hour already. Sigh, it just gets fixed and 3 days later, poof, gone.
 
Suddenly the internet solutions top 20% method does not look too bad compared to 2 hours on Mweb
 
You know, I really don't mind the shaping thing, I'm one that looks at usage over a month rather than worry about full line speed all the time. As long as I get some speed to d/load with (usually half line speed) and my gaming latency is fine, I am one happy camper. But to continuously mess with the thing so that we have a rollercoaster of a system, is really starting to grate my nerves. If you damn well fix something, leave it alone! Don't carry on tinkering to the point that you break it all over again ffs.
 
Ah I didn't see. I would only get about 8kB/s, wont connect now though.

Bump again @ Mweb chaps. Over a week still no feedback. Tracert fails. Why is this site inaccessible on Mweb ? For the love of all things holy some feedback please.
 
If 1000 customers leave, the shaping will remain the same because they will just reduce the pool size to optimize profit.

MWEB has a problem by getting itself and most of its IP allocation blacklisted. Well, not so much MWEB, but it's dumb users. So I spoke with fanart.tv and they confirm that my IP is in the blocked range with their host. They have requested their host to allow the particular IP range I am on right now... hopefully it doesn't change in massive leap to a second tier. Who knows though. This thread: http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=796505&postcount=463 sent me on the path to redemption.

Hope that helps, perhaps both of us will be sorted when they add my ip block to the allowed list?

We have no reported outage regarding our news server. Which news server are you trying to use?
