i'm having speed drop spikes every few seconds now :(

30kb/s for torrents and 40kb/s for http


edit:and i'm having 400kb/s for torrents and 200kb/s for http.

weird.:wtf:


so many hashfails :(

100 MB wasted on hash fails :(

I will be cancelling tomorrow. End of next month ill try other ISP.

On my 4meg line 270KB/s HTTP downloads. This is just bull crap. And MWEB just ignores me.

My reference number is 598186. I was in contact with [email protected]. He also decided ignore me now. This is just sad, I'm paying R900 a month for a reduced service. Enough is enough. MWEB doesn't know what the issue is clearly...

What the hell is wrong? I am lagging my ass off just trying to do random battlegrounds in WoW? Please fix this stupid crap. I am so over Mweb. If it wasnt for it being uncapped I would have moved a long time ago. Fix your service. Now. Please.
 
900ms with Battleping, u have to be ****ting me. WHY IS IT BROKEN EVERY OTHER DAY??? I am so fed up. I have to continuously buy unshaped bandwidth from another ISP just so I can play the only game I do. How can you be so unreliable Mweb???????
 
Oh btw im in Johannesburg, my line is perfect since I use WebAfrica Unshaped prepaid and its insanely good. This happens whenever I have downloaded some stuff. I then stop everything to go play WoW and I CAN NOT PLAY WITH 900MS WITH A PROXY SERVICE. Its pathetic. It happens every single week. What are you doing??????????

Someone should make a Rebecca Black parody with mwebs shaping rules. Something like "shaping ends on friday, its the weekend yeh yeh yeh! Thursday comes before friday so we are still shaped in the front seat, back seat which will i choose !"

Someone thats more creative than me please do it :) Will be epix !

Also yeh, lets get this escalated higher cause these guys are clearly not getting it done.

Happening about 20 times a day (between 5 and 10 minutes at a time) for the last two months. Telkom account to the rescue...

Its pretty simple. The dynamic shaping is completely broken. Fix it. Its so damn unreliable.

@Sillicur: Hey bro :P Its not all the time. I can normally raid with my Mweb Uncapped account with Battleping during the week. But every week theres at least 1 or 2 nights that I just cant do it. I ping 235 to England Battleping server, go in game and boom sits on 900ms. The throughput is terrible probably due to the horrible dynamic shaping program. I literally raid 25 man heroic raids perfectly some nights. Then like tonight I cant even do a random battleground since my ping is jumping between 900-1500ms. Totally unplayable. No stability whatsoever.

I can assure you that Rudi is well aware of the complaints currently being expressed here and he is as concerned as I am.
Regardless of how much you may be in the mood to bash someone or flame at the moment the fact is that basic troubleshooting principles remain unchanged, which is something that should be very understandable in a Tech savvy community such as this one.

I'm not saying that all of you have line faults, or are suffering from Telkom problems, but if you don't allow my team to follow the basic principles of fault elimination and replication then I cannot establish any underlying trend, or reason for your problems, which in turn means when I go to our network engineers and tell them 'something is broken' that I will not have any of the supporting evidence I require to substantiate my claim, or provide them with a starting point for any meaningful investigation.
 
Will, its pretty simple mate. Your shaping program is broken. Completely broken. Fix that and majority of the posts here wouldnt have been needed. Giving low latency without throughput is useless. Giving Http less priority than torrents is stupid. Something is not quite right with how you are shaping.
 
Disable the new London device if possible and all will be fine. Seems the issues started with that so why not use the process of elimination and see if that wont just fix it.

Thing is Will, how many people do you need to give you the info before something starts to happen? Cause if you say 20, then maybe we can get more people to jump on these forums and give you the details you require. So far we just see people being asked to check their inbox, pm details etc since the start of the month and still others are having issues. Doesnt seem as if their faults get fixed and the issue gets resolved.

I am not saying it isnt like that, but if we the customers are burdened by having to supply proof, then you the company we are paying should be too. I honestly hope this isnt the case, but it feels more like a stall tactic so people pay another month because they hope it will get fixed. Dunno just got the feeling but really hope it isnt the case.
