As far as I can see, there is progress - when I select normal news servers - it doesn't come up with 0KB/s and then errors - it's actually connecting and downloading at a horrible 20KB/s - progress albiet CRAP! :mad:

P2P still on 20kb/s 4Mbit line. Local speed tests 4Mbit, international ones 2Mbit or less.
 
Hello all you Mweb people. From past experience i have noticed many mweb users are "heavy" users. Since Mweb has been having problems i am guessing many have moved over to Afrihost. In recent time i have noticed considerably slower speeds on Afrihost that has coincide was Mwebs problems. The only reason that i can think of is that all you leachers have moved over. Im always seeing people talking about torrents in this thread so i know the type of users. My petition is that all you *******s either stay on mweb and ruin its quality than rather move onto Afrihost. Either that or please leave the internet.. Thank you and good night

Sorry guys, I'm not trolling, and know how frustrating it is. It's a real pity considering the great start that affordable uncapped got off to, and how Mweb almost single-handedly changed the internet landscape. For now I've sent through a cancellation request, and may return once things improve again.

My international is acting up...right when I was almost done with tonights work. Oh well, time for some mountain dew, hope this gets solved asap.

Local is also acting up...sigh.

no connection 4 me in CT since about 12, unhappy camper, not a hw/sw prob, router ok, but no connection
 
No connection on my side as well. Seems like a DNS issue but even trying to use the google DNS servers doesn't yield any results.

Funny.. Mweb seems to magically fix itself at 1am

Last night newsever access was terrible (between 20k to 40k) all night.. once 1am hit it suddenly went full speed. It did the same on Monday and tuesday night..

I think mweb problems are in the shaping system.I seems to cut Cape town off in the late afternoon and then reconnect us later in the evening.
