Highly unlikely that they will sort it out tonight, Bar_Rat. Its almost two weeks and yet no reply from Mweb.

You should rather use another ISP for raiding. Its more reliable.
 
you guys know its related to wow vm issues atm and virgin in uk is having the same problems :/

some guys it work some it does not, when i had problem i just log another char and then log my main, it fixes it normally, if monitor your connection (like i do), you will see at the 90% it just uses no bandwidth whatsoever, you need just
relog it works eventually.

also logging into way diffrent areas then you normally play on sometimes have bigger effect ,like me logging into stormwind etc.

and stuff like clear cache , no downloads running etc, just make double sure of that.

I don't understand how 0kb/s on usenet during "office hours" on a weekend makes sense.

And then 19kb/s at 7pm.

Preventing usenet from connecting is quite clearly not "dynamic shaping". That wouldn't cause connection timeouts?

I cant log onto any caracter and i have 10 on one realm and 3 on another.
Also chatting to a friend with VM and he hasnt had a problem since VM sorted out a probem with their network.
So maybe Mweb should contact VM and ask them how to fix things.

Also no problems logging on with telkom or my friends Axxess account.
 
mmm weird , could change your username from @dslmweb.co.za to @mweb.co.za see if it makes a difference

maybe will@mweb have a official fix, for okes still have problems.

only thing i got left is to try with wtffast and try without it.

and try with leatrix fix and try without it.
 
Having LOTS of time out issues on multiple web sites, some times the CSS file won't load which is weird in itself. Has been happening for the last 4 days. Refresh, refresh, refresh.
 
Its an mweb problem, tried everything.
Even the blizzard pathping test........

Login works but then at the loading screen it fails .......
Weird though was this morning it was fine and then at 19:00 @#%@%..........

see the connections to wow
launch wow and then at the loading screen alt-tab
In cmd prompt type, then scroll to the wow connections......
netstat -n -p tcp -b | more

my connections are
195.12.242.245 Berlin
195.12.242.243 Berlin
41.203.21.137 PTA

We have picked up that some members are experiencing problems with WOW at the moment. We have escalated this and will provide feedback as soon as we have more information.

Hey Mweb Guy,

Some people are having a similar issue with Age of Conan...If you could bring this to the attention of those looking onto the problem also...

Mine is working again. Have you fixed it properly this time or is it just gonna happen again?
 
zhe Mwebz are slow and cycling tonight. I hope it improves again soon.

I thought the business line is totally unshaped. Doesn't look like it. My Call of duty wasn't workin last night on it. Please check into it. We not paying R2k for nothing. We want everything to work. Even gaming.
 
... haven't had time to keep track of the thread but today seems much better..... but it is weekend... so lets see... getting just over 400kbs...

Hi MwebGuy

Can you please help with my connection.

I have a 512kbps uncapped all inclusive (recently upgraded by Mweb to 1mbps).

Here are my results:

I cant play games with this, a ping of 250 is way too high.
So all Im doing right now is torrenting the whole day, and will inevitably be throttled.
If I can get a decent quality connection, then I can turn off downloads to play games.
