MWEB representative, do something, even if it to admit you cannot provide the service we are looking for and to let us know to go somewhere else.

Evening Craig, please provide me more detail; as per our record there has only been one router disconnection today and you have managed 194gig of data already for the month of July on a shaped 4 meg account.

Just realized that I didn't actually contact MWEB on the date specified (yesterday), so I don't know why I received an email asking for my feedback.

Evening OnePostWonder, please advise if you are referring to router disconnections or ingame disconnections related to latency?
 
Well at the moment I keep getting disconnected from DAoC, another mmo.

Is there any other traffic on your network when you do your gaming? Also do you pick up any trends with the dc's? When did the connection problem start?

Router stays connected, but can't load webpages or anything. In hindsight, 2 people with different ISP's also had problems, so it seems a South African problem rather than Mweb. Had the same problem with Afrihost so sorry for falsely accusing you. Will edit my other post

Evening TheYak, your line readings seem to be ok at the moment; have you tried a router reboot as yet? (please ensure it is rebooted for at least 30min to ensure you connect with another IP)

Hello

I have been experiencing extremely slow connection speeds with my 4MB mweb account. Download speeds from a normal site is below 180kb/s, I get disconnected from international games (WoW, Eve Online, EA servers). I have seen many people here complaining about disconnections etc. and I do not see any improvements.

I tried to connect with a different ISP account and I have 0 problems. This eliminates my router and dsl line.

No one else is busy on the line.
