Hi jeanres,

You are comparing a capped account with an uncapped account, which has different protocols.

I had a look into your account and saw that our technical specialist provided you with a capped account to test with and so far things are looking better and you'll be monitoring the connection until tomorrow, when they do the follow up call with you.

Why would vpn be shapped though? I am asking if i am using a vpn to netflix will it be abuse? You should really answer the question rather then avoiding it.

Mweb Guy, more lines of international timeouts. No response to my PM yet. NO improvement for a very long time now, 3+ weeks.

I already gave you my feedback on this in PM. You have not provided me with anything concrete, only something about my router.....Even thou every other ISP is fine and a few people experiencing it.

Ping statistics for 67.195.160.76:
Packets: Sent = 3672, Received = 3565, Lost = 107 (2% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:

107 lost, 1 timeout = dc from a game. All sites ping the same. This is to a US site and it still dc's me from an EU server so its not the sites. Its your network.

I have tested this from our test machine using a 384 account and I am able to connect and download from the server.

i am using Alt.Binz, i havent changed any DNS sever settings...I have checked my DNS settings and it says to obtain automatically....could this be the problem, though I have never had this problem before, only since yesterday could download off the news server, now no connection :confused::confused:

I managed to do the telnet test(had to change settings for Windows 7) and it said it could not open on the 119 port, or 23 port
 
altbinz does not work on mweb news server, it does not for me.

it should be on automatic that is correct.

not sure why your altbinz worked before, never ever worked for me, was going to post here(when i had the problem), and i switched to sabnz and it just worked.

edit: have tried sabnz and it too didnt work...

lol don't worry MWEB Guy sorted me out, I don't why but i prefer alt.binz, better UI...thanks for sabnz :)..@MWEB Guy thanks a lot for sorting out my problem :) I am now back to being a happy customer
