mweb guy can you have a look at my account and line, my wow is sluggish, ping to bbc.co.uk is fine, though speedtest is 330ms to london mweb , thanx.
my browsing is a bit sluggish... anyone else having problems?
Evening Spartaniz, are you only having troublw with browsing? Also in which are are you situated?
Also sluggish again for the third night in a row, seems to be fine when I get home at about 5h30, then by 7 im back on 56k modem it seems. local comes and goes, international extremely slow, no youtube at all at the moment. What info do you need mweb?
hi,
I'm in Johannesburg(Florida).
Yes, it is only browsing. Youtube 720 plays without buffering.
Done, sorry for the late reply, had to switch to my bb for a modem.
Right.
So my internet is slow. So slow that I find myself turning red and smashing my keyboard with alarming regularity.
384 is slow enough to begin with, there really is not much room for further speed degradation, if you don't want to send your customers into homicidal fugues of rage.
I phoned MWEB support a couple of days ago, the person had no idea really, and suggested I phone Telkom and get my port reset or something. Same problem; cripplingly slow speeds (this is just straightforward browsing, by the way).
I realized that I have one of those Afrihost free monthly gigs, so I gave it a go to compare. What an amazing difference, sites actually load up, instead of sitting around for minutes at a time doing sweet **** all.
Back to MWEB, immediately, the same problem again.
What is wrong with your service? Why does it not work properly?
Afternoon Copacetic, please provide me comparative pings and tracers with the two accounts.
