P2P completely dead for me. No torrents connecting and barely reaching 1KB/s on Astraweb news server.

cant get speeds higher than 220Kb/s but still usable. Better than nothing :)

So...Seacom is down....pretty typical of this service at this point...Honestly since i've signed up with Mweb, as to avoid all the grief i had with Telkom, its been as bad if not worse. 10 days downtime...minimum. 10 days of slow intermitant international connections and laggy gaming.... are we gonna get those Pro-rata refunds MwebGuy? or we gonna get a lame excuse again?

Wait...you know what nevermind...I think i can figure it out myself -.-

If you need mission-critical service, pay for the business/gaming/premium product at a premium price. If you want a usable service at an affordable price, pay for the consumer-grade product. ADSL is a best-effort service without guarantees. A higher-priced product offers a better "best-effort" than a lower-priced product.

:erm: And Telkom offers the same service including uncapped without the "best-effort" excuse. While Mweb were the only big player in uncapped market we had to put up with shoddy service.
They are no longer the only player and I will be happy to thank them as I leave for "Freeing the Web" but seriously when a friend of mine connects internationally with a ping half mine I have to ask if my money is being well spent.
Loyalty is for chumps, my cash goes to who delivers. Currently MWEB are failing. My patience is only so long.

This has nothing to do with Mweb its the Seacom cables, even my Afrihost account is lacking in speed 10KB/s max

Yeah my speed is not good either although my torrents go at about 80Kbps its not 400+ plus but it is at least going... Do we have any torrent trackers in SA ?

your lucky i can only get up to 10 KB/s then it times out eventually...
