My voting experience

Wimpy coffee sucks. Now if they were offering any premium coffee's that would be a different story! You pay for quality! :)

Got there at 6:45, left just after 8. A lot of people there.

Everything went smooth though - the IEC staff were friendly and helpfull.

Fingers almost numb due to cold. The price of sharing my experiences in the Q... Going in!

Just got back, there was nobody in front of me so it took all of 5 minutes, quick and painless. :)

Finished! Froze my ass and fingers off. 7:15 to 9:20 in cold, but did my part for the future!

Granies slipped in by droves! Did not move for last 20 mins. Was 2nd in Q when their bus arrived... :(

Got there are 6:55 and left about 10 min ago. Also had a spree of elderly pushing through and a whole lot of people using their kids as an excuse to jump queue. One guy must of stuck his 6 year son in a pram... Idiot.

But its over at least.

Lucky for me the voting station is across the street from my house, so, got there at 7 and left at 7:40, no problems at all

Arrived 6h45
Done at 7h15.
Was only 15 people in front when I arrived. But when I left there, almost 200 in the queue.
At least it is not as cold as yesterday.

Same with me... except the Q was a bit longer so
arrived at 6:45am
Finnished 7:30 AM :D

Over and done with :p

I walked 2.5km to the voting station at 7:30...saw a quemble (queue + bundle) of around 150m. Walked straight home (damn it's cold today!!). Will vote later :p

Arrived at 7, voted at 8:45 with maybe 50 people in the queue in front of me but 100's behind me. It's extremely cold because the polling station is next to the dam. The bottleneck is inside where they check the voters roll... there are 4 people to check the voters roll but they only have 1 copy between them:o .

Once past that it takes like 2 minutes because there are plenty of voting cubicles. LOLS at the 1 ballot box though - it's labeled provintial instead of provincial.

I must say The school where I voted had a great system... was very efficient.

I voted at De Burger, and wow the Q's were HUGE!
I arrived at 7:15, left at 8:49! I was number 1057 in the Q and there must have been a another 500 people behind me and it was filling fast :o
