Mt07, which I traded in beginning of last year for a Mt09 tracer, which I traded in last December for the b-king.
LOL.
So what are you on then? A B-king? I didn't know they even still exist.

My current dream bike is the triumph street triple. Read so many positive reviews about it. Hard to find anything negative. If they had demos at the bike festival I would have... Just need some money now![]()
I'm bored as hell on my 250. Thinking of upgrading.
Is a cbr600rr too much for me to handle, or should I maybe look at a 650?

Not to chat really, we can do that here. More to keep a listing of everyone and so we can organise something at some point.
I didn't even know they existed. Was looking for a different bike, saw it in the shop. Did my research, thought it might kill me, did more research, then took it for a test ride.LOL.

Why the upgrade path? Were you hunting for more power? I really want me an Mt 07![]()
Mt07 was a fantastic bike. Small, light, super easy to ride, tons of fun.Why the upgrade path? Were you hunting for more power? I really want me an Mt 07![]()

I'm thinking of adding LED strips to the side of my bike for better visibility. It has these huge plastic covers that house the indicators and a 'fake' side light. Gonna put a strip in there, should make it a lot more visible.
I decides on the 07 rather than the 09 because I wanted something softer and easier to ride. I'd rate the 07 as an excellent beginner bike but not the 09. That triple engine has power to get you in trouble.I'm so jealous, the Mt 07 and/or 09 was my dream.

... Then I bought the 09 anyways
... And then bought a naked Hayabusa![]()
We get a bit screwed with bike prices locally. In europe the MT07 is cheaper than the Honda NC700/750. Here its a chunk more expensive.Yeah at first I fell for the 09, but later decided it's for the best not to get that torque monster, that's when I fell for the 07. After some arguments with the wallet I decided I need even cheaper for a beginner bike.

I'd still rate it as one of the best 'starter' value for performance bikes tho.
In 2 years (and more than 15 years of not riding bikes) I went from 70 hp, to 115hp to 181hp (and 140 odd NM of torque)
So I'm where you started 2 years ago, I come from an offroad background, plenty power with those low gear ratios, but off-road and tough cheap bikes I didn't care much. For me now the er6 does the job.
How about the 1290 superduke GT?The 600 class, imo, is the best starter class. They are light enough that they are easy to ride, but they have enough power that you can have alot of fun once you get used to them, but are still 'safe' that they are only fast if you push them.
My biggest problem (besides when it's too cold or wet to take the bike) is where do I go from the b-king? Mothing really close to it that I .....OOOoooo Aprilia Tuono 1100
That also, but price is too super. How about the 1290 superduke GT?
