I also did the BMW K53 course back in the day to know what to look out for during the test. Was a half day at Zwartkops and the afternoon you could stay behind and practice on your own.

Wife is writing learners in November and then wants to contact Wilmari for training. She also offers various courses.

Anyone know if a place in Cape Town that does stator coil rewinding? After testing my cbr250r this morning, voltage from the stator coils is showing its faulty. I'm going to call Honda tomorrow to see how much a new one costs, but I'm thinking either rewind my current one, get a second hand or refurbished one, or fix up my current one

Dude surely this is warranty stuff? CBR250's are only so old?

Or beyond that at least this **** shouldn't be happening on bikes so new.

I think I saw a place in La Belle road in Brackenfell that does this kind of thing, but I'm buggered to try give you a name.

My thoughts exactly. Ok, the bike is 5 years old, but reading on the net, it does happen. As for warranty, I doubt it has any left, will call Honda to find out
 
Okay 5 years is older than I thought but still pretty young.

The kinds of issues you are having I expected and somewhat had with an old RVF400 which was 15 years old when I had it.
 
PM me, a friend of mine is an Auto Elec who can do stator and coil winding.

Also bugged me that a 21y/o can actually do this.

Any chance he is based in Jhb? Need someone that can help me with a wiring problem. :/

Yeah it's the technical **** with exact numbers that are tricky.

Otherwise anything else a person who drives every day should know quite comfortably.

I got 100% for both my learners.

I found them very efficient when I did mine there. It's not a written test, it's done on a pc screen. After I finished, took less than 30 minutes to pay and collect my learners license. I took a half day from work, ended up going and having a relaxing long brunch at Rocomamas, and then still had time to visit Full Throttle before going to work.

Yup, my stepdaughter did her learners there in january. Pretty jacked.

Writing at 13:00, so leaving work 12ish
