What is the requirements for a learner's these days?

2x colour photographs and a wad of cash? Can you download the form online and fill it out or would I need to grab one at the department?

You need to fill out the blue learner's license form and get your eye test redone (no, an optometrist certificate won't suffice). Once you've passed the eyetest, you go book and pay (R68 here in CPT). You need two colour or black and white ID photos. When you've passed your learner's you get your learner's certificate and have to pay another R33. Valid for 24 months.

I collected the form on the one day and went back two days later at 07:20 in the morning to get in the queue for the eye test.

I also heard here in PE they want proof of residence as well. Anyone aware of this requirement?

Every NATIS transaction needs proof of address.

Not sure if it's different for towns/cities/traffic departments, but when I renewed my driver's license last year, I had to produce a PoA document. When it came to booking my learner's license this time however, the lady behind the counter just gave me the blue forms, stapled my two ID photos to it and made a copy of ID and attached that too and instructed me to do the eye test (which I did two days later). Better to just take a PoA with you though. Rather you not need it and have it on you than the alternative.

When it costs a quarter of the price of the next best safety rated lid AND you can't find any safety rating for it online, yes it's that ***.

It's an unknown origin Chinese rebrand. I wouldn't never trust my life to it.

And the joke is you can get a Bell which is one of the safest options around for not that much more money.

I can understand it if money was a problem and a guy is one a similar price ratio bike. But when your bike is approaching 300k there obviously isn't a money problem.

Yesterday I saw a guy on a BMW S1000RR with a spirit. Really annoys me too. Wouldn't touch that ****.
